860 graduates to participate in Trident Tech’s annual commencement Friday afternoon

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Trident Technical College will hold its 61^st commencement ceremony at the North Charleston Coliseum.

The college, which holds one graduation a year, will see more than 860 graduates participating in Friday’s ceremony; however, the school is celebrating its 2,267 graduates ranging in age 67-16.

These are students who completed their program of study in the summer and fall 2024 semesters, or the spring 2025 semester.

This will be the first commencement ceremony presided over by Vicky Wood, who became president of the college in 2024.

Friday’s ceremony is set for 3 p.m. It is open to the public and will also be streamed online through Trident Tech’s Facebook page and website.
