MUSC PAWS Team to host free eye screenings for certified therapy dogs working in Charleston area

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Therapy dogs in the Charleston area can take part in a free eye screening this week.

The MUSC PAWS (Patient Animal Wellness Service) Team will host on-site eye exams for certified therapy dogs working in Charleston County on Wednesday.

The event, which is sponsored by Epicur Pharma, will be held at MUSC’s downtown campus in the Portico area (171 Ashley Ave.) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“Regardless [of] where you volunteer, you are invited to join us,” said event organizers.

Appointments are not necessary, and there will be plenty of examiners available; however, you are encouraged to register by emailing [email protected] to confirm and/or to receive additional information.
