Person in custody after North Charleston standoff

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are responding Thursday to a barricaded person in a North Charleston neighborhood.

Officials with the North Charleston Police Department are on scene in the area of Park at Rivers Edge.

People are asked to avoid the area. The roads at Park Gate Drive are closed.
