Where to enjoy an Easter egg hunt this weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – There are plenty of Easter events happening around the Lowcountry this weekend, from brunch at The Charleston Place to the Hat Ladies of Charleston’s annual Easter stroll, or Easter beach party at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina.

There will also be plenty of community Easter egg hunts happening across the Lowcountry.

April 18

Glow Egg Hunt at Central Creek Park – Goose Creek

Goose Creek will host a TEEN Egg Hunt glow party at Central Creek Park. The event is intended for teens aged 13-17, and it will include music, food trucks, and a glowing egg hunt.

It’s a free community event, but guests are encouraged to bring their own flashlights.

The “Glow Egg Hunt” begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, and ends at 9 p.m.

April 19

Pawleys Island Easter Celebration – Pawleys Island

The Town of Pawleys Island will host an Easter celebration on April 19 at Pawleys Pavilion Park (323 Myrtle Ave.). Festivities include an Easter egg hunt for all ages, cookies, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

It begins at 2 p.m. and will end when all of the eggs have been found.

Eggventure community egg hunt – Summerville

A community egg hunt will be held at McKissick Field (900 John McKissick Way) from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Children aged 2-10 are invited to participate. There will be games, food, crafts, and other Easter-themed activities. Don’t forget to bring your basket!

Egg the Courthouse Lawn – Colleton County Courthouse – Walterboro

The inaugural “Egg the Courthouse Lawn” Easter egg hunt will take place at the Colleton County Courthouse on April 19.

Organizers say the hunt, featuring over 2,000 eggs stuffed with toys and candy, will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until all eggs are found.

April 20

Wild Dunes Resort – Isle of Palms

Hop over to Wild Dunes Resort for their Easter morning brunch and an egg hunt. You’ll need to make reservations first.
