Outer Banks star to play at The Windjammer this summer

ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – The star of hit shows like “Outer Banks” and “Nashville” is coming to the Isle of Palms this summer.

Charles Esten, who plays Ward on “Outer Banks,” announced through Instagram that his band will play at The Windjammer in August.

“AUG 8TH!! Come to the @windjammeriop for the 5th Annual WARDJAMMER concert! Me and my band. Your feet in the sand. A drink in your hand. See you there. See you then!!” Esten wrote.

The concert name ‘Wardjammer’ is a nod to the series character. Esten said the concert is an annual event that his band plays to show appreciation to the area where “Outer Banks” was filmed.    

The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. on August 8, and tickets are available at the link below.

Crews shot the popular Netflix series all around the Lowcountry, showcasing many well-known landmarks, such as the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Mount Pleasant’s Olde Village, and Bowen’s Island Restaurant.
