Several roads in Goose Creek area to be resurfaced this month
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Several roads in Goose Creek are slated for resurfacing this month.
Berkeley County officials said crews will begin paving nearly a dozen roads from April 7 through April 18. Work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
Lane closures with flagging operations will be utilized to keep at least one lane of traffic open in the work areas. Flaggers will be stationed throughout the route to help vehicles entering and exiting the work zone.
“Please adhere to all construction signs and message boards in the area,” the county said, adding that people should also refrain from parking on streets that are scheduled to be paved.
Those roadways include:
- Dundalk Court
- Southhall Court
- Stoneybrae Court
- W. Hartwick Lane
- Stonehurst Drive
- Lowndes Road
- S. Ansel Crossing
- Bristol Lane
- Waddington Trace
- S. Pembroke Drive
- Monsarrat Lane
The work is part of the 2024 Berkeley County One Cent Sales Tax resurfacing project and the 2024 American Rescue Plan Act Local Roads Resurfacing project.
