Charleston Open athletes uplift young patients at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Athletes competing this week in the Credit One Charleston Open will bring joy and inspiration to young patients at the Medical University of South Carolina.

On Tuesday, the athletes will spend time with children in the Jerry and Anita Zucker Family Atrium, where they will sign tennis balls for the young patients.

MUSC officials say the visit is part of the tournament’s community outreach efforts to create memorable experiences for children facing health challenges and enjoy a moment of fun outside their hospital routines.
