Dorchester District 4 cancels after school and athletic activities Monday over severe weather threat

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Dorchester District 4 has canceled after-school activities for Monday, including athletic practices and the scheduled softball game, due to expected severe weather.

Forecasters said a cold front will bring severe storms, including strong gusty winds and the risk for an isolated tornado, to the area Monday afternoon.

The school schedule is not impacted by the change. The district said it will monitor the weather and notify of any additional changes.
