1 dead after ATV crash near Ridgeville

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – One person is dead following an ATV crash near Ridgeville.

Cpl. Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the driver of an ATV was traveling on Old Beach Hill Road when they ran off the roadway and overturned.

The driver died at the scene from their injuries.

Cpl. Butler said the crash happened around 6:17 p.m. near Boat Landing Road.
