Georgetown County representative to hold meeting with constituents Thursday night

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Residents in Georgetown County’s District 7 will have an opportunity to meet with their representative Thursday evening.

County Councilmember Louis Morant, who was elected to Georgetown County Council in 2022, will hold a community chat with constituents at the Choppee Regional Recreation Center from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The district primarily serves about 9,057 residents and includes the Plantersville and Yuahannah areas.

Organizers for the community chat say there will be special presentations from the planning department and assessor’s office during the event.
