Report: Man facing several charges after firing at 4 female victims

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A 19-year-old was denied bond after firing several shots at four female victims in a Summerville neighborhood on Wednesday.

Summerville officers responded around 5:51 p.m. to Woodduck Drive and Canvasback Drive for reports of shots fired.

“Multiple callers stated 12-15 shots had been fired,” the police report states.

As an officer arrived, he saw a white vehicle and several people fleeing from the area where the shots were fired. An assisting officer spoke to the women in the vehicle, who said they were shot at but not injured.

Investigators spoke to several witnesses on the scene and found numerous shell casings.

One woman was outside playing with her children when she heard yelling and then an estimated 15-20 gunshots, the Summerville police report said.

She saw the suspect flee, running in between backyards while holding his shirt and waistband area. Officers detained the suspect, identified as Sincere Lee, on Canvasback Dr.

When arrested, Lee admitted to the shooting, and officers recovered the firearm used.

Lee was booked on four charges of attempted murder and additional offenses. He was denied bond and remains incarcerated.
