Affidavits: Charleston man had multiple files of child sexual abuse material

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities arrested a 23-year-old Charleston man on several charges connected to sexual crimes involving children.

Parker William Adams was taken into custody Wednesday after the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search of his Brisbane Drive home.

According to affidavits provided by the sheriff’s office, Adams possessed several devices that contained images and videos of child sexual abuse material.

The age of victims in the photos and videos appeared to be as young as five to 14 years old, according to the documents.

He was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center on three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the second degree.
