Volunteers unite to clean Charleston’s Monrovia Cemetery
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Volunteers will gather on Tuesday to clean up a cemetery in Charleston, ensuring it remains a place of dignity and remembrance.
Monrovia Cemetery Board Members and local volunteers will prepare the Monrovia Cemetery for professional landscaping and other improvements.
Organizers say Highland Resources, developer of Magnolia Landing, will provide the beautification efforts as well as critical funding to address flooding issues.
Clean-up is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at 1597 Oceanic Street.
