Live music series returns to Mount Pleasant Pier

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston County Parks’ live music series on Mount Pleasant Pier will return on select Fridays this spring and summer.

Organizers say the season’s first Dancing on the Cooper will be March 21, featuring the Cooper River Band performing a variety of dance hits from the 70s through today.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and live music will play until 10 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a different band every month and see stunning views of Charleston.

“Guests will enjoy dancing to a variety of live musical genres throughout the season, including beach/shag, funk/soul, rock, country, Motown, 60s, 70s, 80s and todays greatest hits,” said Charleston County Park officials.
