Man shot in hand during altercation in Sampit
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A man was shot in the hand during a Saturday night altercation.
Deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Charlie’s Place in the Sampit community to investigate a shooting that occurred.
A man told deputies while at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s emergency room that he was shot in his left hand with a .22 caliber pistol during an altercation.
Officials did not say whether there have been any arrests. They ask that anyone with information call 843-546-5102.
