New Prime Video series follows Charleston high school “Sweethearts”

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – An unscripted series debuting Thursday on Prime Video will follow six Charleston teen couples as they navigate relationships in the final days before they head to college.

“Sweethearts,” from the producers of “Love Is Blind” and “Married at First Sight,” will air all ten episodes exclusively on Prime Video on Feb. 13.

Viewers get to see the couples make it through major milestones like prom, spring break, college decision day, and graduation before ultimately deciding whether they will start the new chapter of their lives in a relationship or single.

The trailer highlights some big moments, like the couples heading to Miami for Spring Break and celebrating graduation while also asking tough questions about how they could make a long-distance relationship work.

Amazon MGM Studios and Kinetic Content produce the series, with Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Paul Moore, Sunny Franklin, Lucy Bennett, Vivian Choi, and Scott Teti serving as executive producers.
