Georgetown police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Georgetown are searching for a man they consider armed and dangerous.

Jaequan Elijah Smith is wanted by the Georgetown Police Department in connection to an armed robbery that happened Sunday on Gilbert Steet.

Smith is described as 5’5” and 240 lbs. Police say he lives in the Bayview area.

“Smith should be considered armed and dangerous,” police said.
