Second Sunday is back with a focus on Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day fun
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – It will be a sunny and warm Second Sunday with a special focus on the Super Bowl and St. Valentine’s Day.
Meeting at Market is the place to be for a special Super Bowl watch party. Wear your team colors and join for a night of food and fun.
The menu includes buffalo chicken dip, deep dish pizza bites, bbq pork sliders, fried pickles, and pigs in a blanket. There is a $75 F&B minimum per person for the event, however.
If the Super Bowl is not your thing, stop by CO and enjoy bowls of noodles, dumplings, pad thai, and creative cocktails at the newly renovated restaurant.
The Jelly Palm Jug Band will liven the event up with music from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. near King and Market Streets.
Woof Gang Bakery will have special Valentine’s Day photo opp for the pups. They’ll be set up inside the store, and Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue will be there with some of the Great Danes available for adoption.
And don’t forget the flowers! Flowers by Vanessa will custom make and deliver wrist bouquets and other arrangementsfor your special event. Find her at 293 King Street in front of Fire Grill Asian Fusion.
Second Sunday is a once-monthly event that closes King Street from Queen Street to Calhoun Street for roughly five hours to allow people to stroll along the entire roadway without vehicles or parked cars while enjoying friends, family, and local businesses.
It is a great opportunity to explore the local shops and restaurants Charleston has to offer.
Second Sunday gets underway from noon through 5:00 p.m.
