Vehicle accident closes section of Orangeburg Road in Dorchester Co.

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Dorchester County are responding to a vehicle accident Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Orangeburg Road, and as a result, traffic is closed in the area. Law enforcement is rerouting traffic while crews complete an initial assessment.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office asks motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
