Crash causes major backups, closures on I-526

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A crash is causing lane closures and backups on I-526 early Monday morning.

According to SCDOT, one left lane is closed at exit 19 near North Rhett Ave-North Charleston.

Emergency personnel were spotted at the scene at 6:48 a.m. assisting with the crash.
