Dorchester District 4 hosting “cool careers” recruitment fair

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A school district in Dorchester County will hold a recruitment fair Monday evening.

Dorchester School District 4 said it is looking to hire teachers, teacher assistants, bus drivers, special education staff, support staff, and cafeteria technicians.

There will be professionals on hand to help candidates with resume building, the application process, and the opportunity to learn about becoming a teacher through alternative pathways.

“Representatives from Carolina Collaborative for Alternative Preparation (Carolina CAP) and PACE will be available for those interested in transitioning into teaching through alternative certification programs,” the district said.

There will also be on-the-spot interviews and job offers.

The recruitment fair will be held at Woodland Middle School from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
