CARTA to resume operations Saturday with modified routes
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Public transportation services remain impacted by dangerous icy conditions Friday afternoon, however they are set to return Saturday.
Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority, or CARTA, said it would not operate any service due to icy roads in key areas.
“We will assess conditions this afternoon to decide on service operation for Saturday,” said Matthew Spath, communications director for the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments.
Operations are scheduled to resume Saturday at 10 a.m. with some modified routes.
