Vendor applications open for Mount Pleasant Farmers Market

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market has begun accepting vendor applications for the 2025 season.

Kicking off its 28th year, the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market draws locals and visitors to discover fresh local produce, seafood, baked goods, and freshly prepared meals.

Vendors interested in applying should submit their applications by February 8. The season will run from April 1 to September 30, and about 40 vendor spaces are available.

“We are looking for farmers and food vendors who want to share their knowledge with our community while selling their products to the thousands of shoppers,” said Mount Pleasant Farmers Market Manager Tracy Richter. “While we do not offer exclusivity to vendors, we always strive to deliver a varied and balanced market with a wide variety of goods.”

Organizers emphasize that the Tuesday market will only be open to farmers and vendors. Food trucks will not be permitted at the market due to space limitations.

All vendors will also be required to practice environmentally acceptable packaging as specified in the Town of Mount Pleasant ordinance 18024.
