School bus strikes NCPD vehicle during traffic stop

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A school bus struck a North Charleston Police Department vehicle early Monday morning, according to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said the school bus hit the police vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to Jason Collins with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, it was a minor accident and no injuries were reported.

No road closures are currently in place.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
