Vehicle fire closes lanes on I-26 westbound in Berkeley County

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A vehicle fire early Tuesday morning has closed lanes on I-26 in Berkeley County.

Cpl. Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said two westbound lanes are shut down near mile marker 199.

Firefighters and emergency crews are currently on the scene. Trooper Pye said drivers should expect delays and use caution in the area.
