North Charleston police investigating shooting that injured man

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that left a man injured.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to a “shots fired” call on Dove Creek Drive just before 8 p.m. where they learned an abandoned apartment was damaged by gunfire.

A man who had been shot ran up to officers while they were collecting shell casings. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
