Crash with entrapment blocks Johns Island road

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews are responding to a Friday morning crash on a Johns Island roadway.

The St. John’s Fire District said River Road was closed at Ardwick Road, just south of Cane Slash Road, because of a multi-vehicle crash with entrapment around 8:50 a.m.

Drivers are advised to find an alternative route and expect delays in the area.
