Police: Man assaulted Five Below worker during theft
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Police are working to identify a man who assaulted an employee at Five Below while stealing merchandise.
Officers were told on December 21 that an unknown man attempted to steal several items from a Five Below store on Savannah Highway. When the man was confronted by an employee, they say he scratched the employee’s arm.
The department shared images of the individual accused of the strong-arm robbery and asked the community for information that could help them identify the man.
