Multiple injured after shooting in Cross community, deputies say

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Berkeley County are investigating a shooting Tuesday night in the Cross community.

The shooting happened on Spiers Landing Road and resulted in multiple victims, according to Carli Carr with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.

Carr did not provide an update on the severity of the injuries. Law enforcement received reports of the shooting around 7:30 p.m.

There was no word on whether any suspects were in custody.

Authorities categorized the incident as a “fluid” situation and said more information would be released shortly.
