Colorado woman struck on Daniel Island: Coroner

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman from Colorado as the pedestrian struck and killed on Daniel Island on Friday.

Candice Snead, 31, of Colorado was positively identified as the victim killed by a vehicle while walking on Bucksley Lane.

Officials say the collision occurred Friday, October 25th at 12:51 a.m. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office was notified by a local hospital that Snead was struck and pronounced deceased.

The Charleston City Police Department and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
