Pedestrian struck and killed in Thursday night collision, Charleston Police investigating

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday, October 24, at around 11:30 p.m. on Seven Farms Drive near Pier View Street.

The Charleston Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is now handling the case. According to officers, the pedestrian entered the roadway of Seven Farms Drive when the incident occurred.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to their injuries. The driver remained at the scene following the accident.

No charges have been filed at this time, and the accident remains under investigation.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the deceased.
