Truck fire impacting I-526 near Don Holt Bridge

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A truck fire is impacting Thursday afternoon traffic on I-526 near the Don Holt Bridge.

Firefighters and law enforcement responded to a truck fire in the westbound lanes of the interstate around 4 p.m.

Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the cab of the truck through the South Carolina Department of Transportation’s traffic cameras.

Multiple lanes were closed while crews responded to the fire. Delays are expected.
