Car crashes into West Ashley seafood restaurant

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A vehicle crashed into a West Ashley seafood restaurant Thursday afternoon, according to first responders.

Charleston County Rescue Squad units responded after the vehicle crashed into the front of The Mason Jar by Fatboys on Ashley River Road.

The restaurant posted on social media that no one was injured in the incident. However, the business will be closed indefinitely.

Photos from the scene show a gaping hole in the front of the restaurant. News 2 has reached out to law enforcement for further details.
