Deputies arrest 2 men accused in Ladson shooting that injured woman, juveniles

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Berkeley County arrested two men following an investigation into a shooting that injured a woman and two juveniles.

Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a location on Sundial Lane on July 31 after a caller told law enforcement someone was outside shooting and that bullets had come into her home.

An adult and two juveniles were struck by gunfire.

Demontae Trevon Jones, 23, was arrested on August 1 and Donovan Demetri Reid, 24, was arrested on October 1 with help from the US Marshals Service.

Both face six counts of attempted murder. They are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
