California man found with over 100 lbs of marijuana during Dorchester County traffic stop
DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A multi-agency narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a 45-year-old California man.
The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and Summerville Police Metro Narcotics Unit arrested Ping Nain of Sacramento, California on September 24. He is charged with trafficking in 100 lbs or more of marijuana.
Eight large cardboard boxes filled with marijuana were found during a traffic stop, according to the sheriff’s office. Officials added that the weight of the marijuana was roughly 160 lbs.
Nain was taken to the L.C. Knight Dorchester County Detention Center. His bond was set at $75,000.
