22 storm-related deaths have been recorded in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – On Saturday, South Carolina public safety officials attributed 22 deaths across the state to Hurricane Helene and its impacts.

These numbers below have been confirmed through the coroner’s office in each county:

Aiken County: 4

Anderson County: 3

Chesterfield: 1

Greenville County: 4

Newberry County: 2

Saluda County: 3

Spartanburg County: 5
