ATV crash in Williamsburg County leaves 2 dead

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Troopers are investigating a deadly ATV accident in Williamsburg County.

Two people were riding on a Kawasaki ATV on Thursday afternoon when the vehicle traveled off the side of Garden Road and struck trees.

Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said the operator was injured and taken to a local hospital where they died.

The passenger died at the scene from injuries received in the crash.

The victim’s identities have not been released.
