18-wheeler load falls off trailer, spills on Savannah Hwy

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office issued a traffic alert on Savannah Highway after an 18-wheeler’s load spilled on the roadway.

Authorities closed one southbound lane near Earnest Hilton Road in Ravenel.

According to deputies, an 18-wheeler’s load fell off the trailer and spilled onto the roadway.

All lanes have since reopened, deputies announced via social media at 9:16 a.m.
