Man killed outside North Charleston gas station: NCPD
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a homicide that left one man dead outside of a North Charleston gas station.
Officers responded to the Marathon gas station at 3543 Dorchester Rd around 12:20 a.m. for a reported shooting.
According to authorities, upon arrival officers found a man outside the store, lying on the ground, suffering from gunshot wounds.
“Despite life-saving measures, the victim died at the scene,” said Harve Jacobs, spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department.
No arrests have been made, officials say.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office and North Charleston Police Department are investigating.
