Lanes reopen after crash prompted closure of I-26 E

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – An early morning collision prompted the closure of all eastbound lanes on I-26 for Monday commuters.

The collision occurred at mm 214 near the Bennet Yard Overpass.

All lanes have reopened and traffic is flowing.

South Carolina Department of Transportation cameras showed a heavy presence of emergency personnel.
