Berkeley County begins mosquito spray treatment
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Berkeley County has released its mosquito abatement schedule for the area after the influx of mosquitoes that emerged after Tropical Storm Debby.
Berkeley County’s Mosquito Abatement Department defends the health and well-being of the county’s citizens from disease and discomfort caused by mosquitoes, according to Berkeley County’s website.
The Abatement Department will spray in the following places starting Tuesday morning (August 27):
- Pimlico B
- Pimlico A
- Moncks Corner C
- Moncks Corner B
The department has already sprayed a number of zones last week. Since Friday, the department has sprayed in:
- Macedonia C
- Pineville A
- Pineville B
- Pineville C
- Beaverdam
- Wando B
- Wando C
- Huger A
- Huger B
- Alvin
- Jamestown
- Shulerville
- Wando A
- Daniel Island South
- Sandridge A
- Sandridge B
