Move-in Week begins at Charleston Southern University

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Southern University welcomes more than 1,400 students to campus during its annual Move-In Week.

As CSU gears up for the start of the new school year, they are projecting to have over 2,300 full-time traditional undergraduates on campus this fall.

Officials say due to the continued increases in residential numbers, the university will accommodate students in the on-campus Wingate Hotel.

“CSU continues to see higher amounts of returning students seeking more affordable housing on campus versus off campus in the Charleston area,” said Charleston Southern officials.

New students will begin their move-in starting at 8 a.m. through noon on Thursday, August 22.

Returning students will begin their move-in starting at 8 a.m. through noon on Saturday, August 24.

CSU expects to see one of its highest enrollment years on record.
