Man ‘seriously’ injured after high-speed crash in Colleton Co.

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A high-speed crash ending in a ditch on Quail Drive resulted in a man being seriously hurt.

The collision occurred on Wednesday, August 14. Authorities say the man was driving a small Chevrolet pick-up traveling northbound on the 900 block of Quail Drive.

According to Colleton County Fire-Rescue, the driver failed to negotiate a curve, over-corrected and lost control of the vehicle. The truck crossed both lanes of traffic twice before entering the southbound ditch and striking a tree.
