Police looking to ID suspect in West Ashley assault

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating an assault that happened earlier this month at the Tin Roof in West Ashley.

The incident happened on the night of August 3. Police say the victim was reportedly struck multiple times with a microphone stand by the suspect.

Police ask that anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the assault call the department at 843-720-2422 and ask to speak with the on-duty central detective.
