Paula Abdul not performing in Charleston show due to sickness

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Paula Abdul fans hoping to see her in Charleston on Thursday have some bad news.

Abdul, who was set to perform with New Kids On The Block on Daniel Island at 7 p.m., announced she will not take the stage due to having the flu and body aches.

The ‘Straight Up’ singer posted on Facebook at around 6 p.m. that she hopes to perform on the next leg of the Magic Summer Tour 2024 in Alpharetta, GA, Friday.

“I’m really sorry to all my fans who came out to see me tonight! I love you all and truly appreciate your understanding and support Xo, P,” the star wrote.

The good news is that New Kids On The Block will still perform, despite the dreary forecast for the show.
