Power restored to residents in Awendaw and McClellanville

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Dominion Energy has reported power outages in the Awendaw and McClellanville area Wednesday morning.

According to Dominion Energy’s outage map, power is restored in Awendaw and Mclellanville as of 5:53.

As previously reported, 834 customers were without power.

Dominion Energy officials say the outage was caused by a fallen tree that made contact with power lines.

Crews have removed the tree and made repairs, according to officials.
