Police investigating overnight armed robbery at Isle of Palms condos

ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD)- The Isle of Palms Police Department (IOPPD) is investigating an overnight armed robbery at a condo complex Wednesday.

Police said officers responded to the Sea Cabin Villas on Ocean Boulevard around 1:20 a.m. for a reported armed robbery.

The victims reportedly told officers that masked men, who were carrying a gun, approached them and demanded items.

The suspects ran from the scene, according to IOPPD.

Officers searched the surrounding area and found some of the stolen items but did not locate any suspects.
