Coroner IDs boater killed in crash near James Island Connector

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The coroner’s office has identified the victim of a Friday night boating crash.

Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal said 41-year-old Joseph Corradino of Charleston died from injuries sustained in an accident that happened near the James Island Connector.

Officials with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) said the boat struck a day marker near the bridge.

SCDNR is the investigating agency.
