Marc MacMillan out as Charleston Southern’s head baseball coach
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Southern University will join the search for a new head baseball coach.
The school’s athletic department announced Monday that head coach Marc MacMillan will not return for the 2024-25 school year.
“We are grateful to Coach MacMillan for his hard work and tireless efforts with our baseball program and wish him and his family the very best,” said Jeff Barber, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.
According to the university, MacMillan ends his time with Charleston Southern with an 86-116 record over his four seasons with the Buccaneers after arriving in 2020.
Karl Kuhn will serve as the interim head coach amid a nationwide search for the team’s new head coach.
