1 child, 1 adult injured in Colleton County shootings

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Two victims were injured after multiple shooting incidents in Colleton County.

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office responded to two separate shooting incidents on the night of June 1st and into the early morning hours of June 2.

On June 1st, a juvenile was struck by gunfire while inside a vehicle, deputies report.

On June 2nd, authorities say an adult male was struck by gunfire during a shooting at Chase Lounge.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment, deputies say their conditions are serious.

Authorities report another shooting incident with over 100 shots fired in the area of Ritter Road. No victims were reported from that shooting as of Sunday morning.

All incidents are actively under investigation by the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office.
